For the past 14 years West Coast College has been providing quality health and human services training
with both theoretical and practical components culminating in College arranged practicum's for every successful student.
Our graduates are widely recognized by employers as having both the clinical/practical skills required to be
successful and the initiative and positive attitudes that make them sought after employees. Hundreds of our graduates
are now successfully working throughout British Columbia.
have consistently allowed graduates to find work in both the Public and Private sectors.
Students from our
Veterinary Assistant program are the graduates of choice by Veterinary practices looking for well-trained
clinical assistants. Our last two classes have boasted 100% employment!
Students graduating from our
Resident Care Attendant
programs find rewarding employment directly after graduation and can apply to the Access to
Practical Nursing program through
the Community College system as our diploma is recognized. Our
Community Support/Justice Worker graduates have multiple
job opportunities in a wide range of areas. Additionally this program has been chosen by the
Red River College to provide a
dual Certificate in Fetal Alcohol Syndrome/Effect.
West Coast College is excited about our newest program,
Certified Dental Assistant Introduced in June 2004 our first graduates have successfully completed the requirements to becoming Certified Dental Assistants
and are now working in the field. This program takes place in our fully functional dental clinic complete with outpatient clinics
for the public.
